Canada's national delusion? that we get nothing right. Very self-deprecating as individuals and as a country.
I'd actually been thinking about it since earlier today in the "protest" thread, when I posted the link about David Dodge, Canada's former Governor of the Bank of Canada - in effect Canada's chief economist at the time our economy was reworked. Why we don't hop up and down more pointing out how he got it right ... that's our delusion ... we don't get things right or if we do, we don't want to mention it.
