I love the movies and all the stars
Not one for drinking in smokey bars
When we go out, you always say
Leave the movies to another day.

I'm sure it would not cause you pain
To see a John Wayne classic now and again
You know I have been a movie fan for years
I don't ask you to miss columbo and Cheers.

Pop corn and candy and even a drink
Darling there's nothing I wouldn't do for you
So honey put me out of my pain
