MYSTIC LADY

Don't talk as I hear the sound of thunder
Who's this lady, I stare and wonder
i'll tell you no lies and cause you no pain.
Remember my face, you may never see it again

She held out her hand
I touched her fingers,
Like frozen ice
This mystic lady would not linger.

She sees in my eyes as I tried to remember.
Who's this lady I wonder?
I told Mother of this lady
She looked at me a thought maybe.

I will tell my son of this sad lady
She was no other, but my Mother.

As the years past, I would not ask
Until she appeared at our door
This lady to me a stranger no more.
I found my Grandmother for ever more.
