Hi all,

we have a very steep rockery in our garden adjacent to our lawn. When it rains we have a lot of runoff water collecting on the lawn. So we are thinking of installing a drainage channel. (http://www.hauraton.com/en/AQUAbau/DRAINFIX_CLEAN/index.php).
Is this a good solution?

Many thanks
Erwin

My neighbor has one of these. Problem is, he directed it into the canal! So there is no filtering going on when the water is rushing the way to the canal.

Where are you directing the water?

Here's what I suggest: For your issue, before the slope, I have seen holding pools created. Dig out the earth to make indents before your slope. Fill with rocks. Surround with perennials. This slows down the flow and waters your plants at the same time.
