Cool Whip Competitor 70's-80's?

My Mom and I are having a disagreement. When I was kid I remember she always bought a certain brand of 'cool whip.' It wasn't "COOL WHIP" brand, though. It was another national brand, which I think a blue label. (I am talking about the little refrigerated tubs, not the cans.)

I distinctly remember this because she could not stand COOL WHIP and said it turned to water. When I got older and started to drive, I accidentally picked up COOL WHIP for her and never heard the end of it!

But now she doesn't remember that and thinks she always used COOL WHIP, but I can't remember the name of the other brand... It's driving me crazy now... Does anyone remember a national competing brand to COOL WHIP back in the 70s-80s, possibly even the early 90's? Thanks!

@TheTSArt,
Cool Whip has been around since the 60's and as far as I remember has always had a blue label.

Here's a 1984 commercial. See if the tub label looks more familiar to you.

There are no other name brand competitors. Some store chains may have had their own generic house brands.

It may have been real whipped cream and not a "whipped topping."

This other brand was carried by three different supermarket chains in our area so I don't think it was a generic...
