@Eva,
HAHA, like the sig, that's whats nice about this site, click ignore and you don't have to see them again Wink

Unless we happen to stop in his tacky antique store, actually when I first saw it I thought it was a goodwill drop off point and not an antique store Cool

@jcboy,
I doubt he'll be back, heard he was quite surprised we knew he owned that store, I have a feeling he's going to behave now.

@DannyVboy,
Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the Profile link.

There you'll find instructions to add your own photo avatar via the gravatar.com website.

@Butrflynet,
I have yet to figure out how to use Gravitar. Most confusing, exasperating, irritating experience I've ever had on the 'net.

What part had you two stumbling?

Let me know and I'll see if I can work up a short tutorial with screen shots.

@MMarciano,
Yeah, I had to do hamburgboy's for him.

It seems so obvious, but it apparently isn't.

@Butrflynet,
I didn't have a problem at all. Everytime Marco tried to upload his he would browse click on the image, select it, then it would take him right back to the browse section again but only on his laptop, not on mine, weird.

@jcboy,
Where was the image he clicked on and selected? Was it on his local hard drive or had he already uploaded it and was trying to select it from the gallery of uploaded images on Gravatar?

@Butrflynet,
It was on his hard drive, I remember he had to email it to me then I saved it on my hard drive, I had no problem uploading it, his just wouldn't. He has an apple, I'm on a pc, not sure if that makes a difference though.

@jcboy,
Does he have a firewall or anti-virus program on his that could have been blocking uploads?

@ehBeth,
Here are just some of the things I don't know how to do:
1) Upload an image to Gravitar
2)How do you get from the Gravitar site to the A2k site?
3)There's nothing there that connects Gravitar and A2k

Of course, I've never mastered Photobucket either.

@Butrflynet,
Oh he does, I don't on mine, that could be it. Actually I need something, I had a virus and had to call out the geek squad a couple of weeks ago.

@Lustig Andrei,
You have to use the same email account to register at en.gravatar.com that you use at A2k.

It will link the avatar you add there to all account that use that same email address.

Where is the image you want to use as an avatar?

@msolga,
Back when I was Merry Andrew, it was Francis who posted my avatar for me. He had the photo as he took had taken it himself in San Francisco a few months earlier. (CJ was there, too, along with c.i. and a few others.)

You know another thing I found strange. On my work computer every avatar shows up, for instance Roger’s but at home on my laptop it’s totally different. Some do, some don’t show up.

@Lustig Andrei,
If you want to use the MerryAndrew avatar, it'll be easy peasy!
