What are good resources for creating fictional comic book/cartoon towns/cities & mapping them out?

@Questioner,
I can just use a map generator to create a map of a city/town and figure out what buildings should be what and use the map as a reference giude.

Conceptual art is handdrawn. A lot of animated films use computer-generated backgrounds.

How were people making animated films and tv shows before digital programming came about?

That's not what you said in the boudoir the other night. I have the video here and it clearly shows you telling your neighbors cat that it's the way it should be.

Some people think I'm OBSESSING OVER MY comic book ideas? No - I am FOCUSING ON THEM.

SOME PEOPLE are making fun of the idea of STREETFIGHTING CATS AND DOGS THAT FIGHT CRIME?? REALLY????:

You NEVER heard of Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse?:

That was no different than Danger Mouse:

or Darkwing Duck:

@JGoldman10,
What Danger Mouse had, that you completely lack is a sense of humour. Your cat is likely to become less popular than a trip to the dentist.

@izzythepush,
Interestingly he fails to realize that the darkwings were, first and foremost , FUNNY.
"Streetfighting cats and dogs" sounds like MAnga **** to me. MAnga is severely humor challenged. When you have little cute faced puppies and kiddies on serious missions, youve misssed the boat.

Oh Well. Maybe he will show us all up. I dont wish him any ill, I just wish hed get on with oit. Hes fucked around too long.
I should talk.

@izzythepush,
I am guessing you never seen or have heard of the other two.

COURAGEOUS CAT AND MINUTE MOUSE was an HOMAGE AND DIRECT PARODY OF BATMAN, created by Bob Kane himself.

DARKWING DUCK was a PARODY AND SEND UP of BATMAN and the SUPERHERO genre.

@farmerman,
STREETFIGHTING CATS AND DOGS are simply GANGS of CATS AND DOGS that fight crime and evil.

They are ACTION HEROES, not SUPERHEROES. In some stories they experiment with becoming superheroes.

The types of people who confront bad guys and make citizen's arrests.

You do guess a lot. I know a lot more about Danger Mouse because it's British, and because people have accused me of looking like Penfold.

I USED TO WATCH DANGER MOUSE - DON'T ASSUME I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

You're BRITISH? Oh, that's NICE TO KNOW.

I may look a bit like him, but I don't sound like him. This is the guy who did the voice for Penfold.

I sound more like this guy.
