A while ago I watched a PBS program, I think it was called The Ant Man, there was a reference to the online encyclopedia of life.
So I finally remembered and have begun looking it over, Looks pretty great, lots of info and lots of links.
Anyone else looked at this?

@wayne,
Ive looked at it and Im amazed at how far its gotten in the short time theyve taken Wilsons idea and run with it.
My wife uses it to begin researching on lichens because she uses lichens species to make natural dyes.

@farmerman,
I guess the idea is to eventually have info on every known life form accessible there.
I'm also amazed at how much is there already.
Looks like all the groundwork is laid, just need to fill the pages.

@wayne,
They are seeking "curators" and "Guides" . Its similar in scope to Googles model. Everybody can pitch in and if youre wrong, youre stuff will slowly be edited out.

What about teenagers . . . do they have an article on teenagers yet? The strangest, most inexplicable life form on the planet.
