Are atheists being more illogical than agnostics?

@anonymously99stwin,
You claim not to know, because you refuse all the science that proves all life forms evolve. Humans are of the primate family of animals - closely related to the apes. There's nothing in fiction that can refute this fact.

This verse seems to indicate that aliens made contact thousands of years ago-
"The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown" (Genesis 6:4)

Nobody has ever been able to translate the word 'Nephilim' which could mean "giants"...."the violent ones"...."the fallen ones"..."sons of God", in other words powerful beings who had descended to earth to interbreed with human women to boost the quality of human DNA and the gene pool.
Boost the QUALITY? Hybrids between humans and rebellious angels, if the scriptures are correct. Abominations. Greek and Roman mythology are very likely sanitized versions of that time.

@Germlat,
I'm not surprised; all my siblings are christians married to christians. I'm an atheist married to a buddhist. Our wedding pictures (over 50 years ago) show our mother never smiled even once.

@cicerone imposter,
My mother became a fanatic christian in her forties. Part of my family is Jewish and of course I don't give in to their fantasies so tensions are usually high. Sigh!

Because we think. I've found, over time, that most (not all) liberals/atheists are just smarter than most (not all) regressives/theists.

@AndrewFerrol,
I think atheists are more apt to believe in science over a 2000 year old book that has many errors, omissions, and contradictions.

Wait a minute! In one breath atheists say the bble has been edited and tidied up over the centuries to make it look good, then in their next breath they say it's full of errors and contradictions!
Wish they'd make up their mind and tell us whether it's been prettied up or hasn't it..Wink

@AndrewFerrol,
I've found that many highly intelligent people are so obsessed with their own genius, they lose their common sense.

Present company excepted, of course.

But is it smart of atheists to say "there's no god"? What evidence to they base that assumption on?
Theists say "of course there's a god, the existence of life and the universe is ample evidence!"

No wonder you have concept problems. You don't understand the first thing about logical fallacies. It's not for us to prove "there is no god," but for people who claim there is to prove their/its existence.

God is invisible but the universe is ample evidence of his existence.
Likewise, Predator is invisible too, but there's evidence he exists..Wink

@Romeo Fabulini,
That's called "strawman fallacy."

Your god is "invisible," but you can see it? LOL

Is there a sanitarium close to where you live? You're seeing things that doesn't exist!
