Are atheists being more illogical than agnostics?

Yeh, they sense the beauty and clarity that comes from being free of theism, right up until the first trusted adult starts telling them that a particular myth is actually real.

@Germlat,
Germiat, you are right of course, but you'll learn eventually that while Setanta is sufficiently talented that many of us have decided to put up with his infantilisms, he is an inveterate POTTY MOUTH.

The common tactic of people whom have realized they've lost an argument is to scan for spelling errors and point them out (note, Herald did the same thing in the other thread to farmerman).

It hasn't been dreamed up. Perhaps it's time for you to join the 21st century.

I've clearly proven that the burden of proof never lies on the negative regardless of assertions through various examples that you've simply dismissed and/or contradicted yourself on. What more needs to be said?

@Romeo Fabulini,
Add to that list:

12. Because there is no evidence that leads one to believe that any deities exist.

Ah-hahahahahahahahaha . . .

Dream on, clown. You said something stupid, you were forced to admit it (finally), and the rest was you showing what a vile, hateful son of a bitch you are.

Jesus wept--it's not an insult to say that someone is peddling bullshit in any case in which the person concerned happens to be peddling bullshit. That's just descriptive language. Over the years, i've taken the stance that if someone insults me, i give it back to them, in spades. After years of abuse, i decided to take no more. For example, Carnatic Misery there was claiming that all religions are essentially pantheism, with the possible exception of Christianity. I pointed out that that was not true. That was the first time i had ever addressed a post to Carnatic Misanthropy, and it responded by calling me an idiot. It got nastier and nastier. I have no regrets about how i've responded. I've never made personal remarks about Ding und Sich, and i don't recall that i've ever made any personal remarks about JLN, either. People seem to think that they've been gravely insulted if someone tells them what they've said is bullshit. It it's bullshit, there's no insult in saying so. Too bad if one's delicate ego can't handle it.

Bad use of "whom"...and has someone here "lost" and argument...except in your day-dreams?

You have done no such thing...but you are so cute when you try to bluster your way though these things. Did you learn your debate technique from a book with lots of pictures in it?

So you never answered my question before. If you actually think that a negative assertion accrues no burden of proof...if a theist asserts, "This world could not exist without a creator"...do you just accept it?

Thanks for the quote mate, it just proves that even though Helen went deaf and blind at 19 months of age , she still grew up sensing that a 'Force' was out there..Smile

Hey Jimmy baby, check out the "Scientific studies: Religious people are less intelligent than atheists" thread and you'll see I said-
"Most organised religions and TV evangelists are corrupt, and people who donate money to them are halfwits.
Atheists don't donate money to them, so that makes atheists more intelligent.
Jehovahs Witnesses let their kids die for want of a transfusion, but no atheist would let their kids die, so that makes atheists more intelligent on that score too
"

Don't you agree with what i said?

Nah, he just calls bullshit when he sees it. Fine by me.

Since good faith is rarely exhibited on this forum, the insults Set throws at ppl, with the accompanied injury, at least provide a good laugh. Humor over good faith? Deal.

Jesus did miracles and stuff to show God's power working through him and said-
"..even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father."- John 10:38
Same in 'The Day the Earth Stood Still', the visiting alien proved he had immense power by turning off the whole world's electricity..Smile

There also is no evidence that deities do not exist...and more importantly, there is no evidence that it is impossible for deities to exist.

The fact that "there is no evidence that leads one to believe that any deities exist" has no logical impact whatever on the question of whether or not deities exist.

No offence mate but are you sloshed? Or are you a Pentecostalist babbling in an unknown tongue?
I hope you play golf better than you talk or you'll be stuck in the sandtrap forever..Smile
