i have Prolink PCC5020 webcam. It was running fine and good but suddenly don't know what happened when i on my cam to chat in yahoo, no images. All dark and nothing. i checked in system > Devices but there too everything ok. Device working well and so is the driver. I uninstalled the driver and windows 7 detected the hardware and installed it again.
But to no use still all black. Adjusted the lens too bit nothing. What may be the problem.

Possibly your system installed updates that are conflicting with the webcam's software. Do they have support forums? Maybe ask, specifically, e. g.
I have windows 7, the cam was working until whatever date it was working, then it wasn't, I am wondering if there are conflicting updates and whether there is a patch.
