1. Annecy
2. Munich
3. Pyeongchang
President Lee Myung-bak embarked on a nine-day trip to Africa on Saturday, visiting South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia.
During his six-day stay in Durban, South Africa- the first leg of his trip- President Lee is expected to dedicate most of his time to high-profile diplomacy ahead of the announcement of the host city for the 2018 Winter Games next Wednesday.
Korea's alpine town of Pyeongchang is competing against Germany's Munich and France's Annecy after narrow defeats in two previous attempts to host the international event.
i'd vote for either Dubai or Alice Springs, Australia
@blackrose cv,
I wouldn't wish the Olympic curse on any of these cities, especially Munich or Pyeongchang.
Here is one of the many news reports that prove that the staging the Olympics are a disaster for every modern era Olympic host city.

@djjd62,
On the same thinking, I recommend Palm Springs, CA.
