losing your dog or cat or other pet

I'm probably the a2ker with the longest dog mourning thread on earth and I get it that these kinds of threads can be reservoirs for inchoate sorrow and annoying to others, including other pet people..
But it is hard for some of us.

So, I'm starting this thread - not meaning to accumulate saccharinity, but give the odd link or two.
