@farmerman,
Interesting picture, farmerman - particularly the fairly large secular rise from 1900 to 1950. It's about half the average magnitude of the decline associated with the well-known Maunder minimum which is known to have caused a roughly 2 deg C drop in average temperatures in the 17th & 18th centuries. Offhand this appears to be enough to alone have caused the warming observed on the planet since the start of the last century.

@rosborne979,
One of those pointy bullets could easily pass straight through a polar bear without doing lethal damage and you'd get killed. The 45/70 is vastly more lethal.

@georgeob1,
Thats why I wish this wouldnt be such a stupid poli sci exercise.
! Everyone can see that temps have been changing to the positive

2An increasing minority sees that evidence does NOT support anthropogenic cause and effect.( However,I dont get drummed out of the libtard club for not buying into the "hockey stick"-we are a big tent after all)

@gungasnake,
gimme a 10 gage Ithaca with punkin balls and polar bears fear me. ANyway, if you eat polar bear and are not accustomed to it (especially organ meats). It can kill us lower latitudiners(Overdose on Vitamin A). Apparently polar bears organ meat has got more Vitamin A than a ton of carrots.

@farmerman,
Fman, this is something you would almost certainly find interesting:

I maintain that the basic Marlin 45/70, particularly with Garrett ammo, is America's most lethal gun. As I read it there is no land animal it won't kill and the mildest ammo they sell would just drop any kind of bear.
