Yester night
you came into the dimly-lit room;
You were one of the wraiths
haunting my domain,
a spectre chasing me
through the years.
I perceived nothing would ever
be the same
as my eyes sank in a flood of tears.
There was no soul in the room
but for you and me;
I sensed your presence
in the coal-dark corridor
where you run free.
Ubiquitous bird came stealing in,
caught me off my guard,
blemished the night serene.

I am not quite sure of this but it sounds like you are living with ghostly memories. A good read. Maggie
