I was never really a cat person but I must admit I got attached to those two. They will be missed and it won’t be the same without them. But they did have a good long loving life that's for sure.

So....you acquiring some more cats any time soon?

I may someday but probably not for a while. I had those two since I was twelve years old. Animals just don’t live long enough, they both had a great loving home though but I don't feel I'm ready for another one but you never know, I may find a cute kitten that needs a home and of course I won't be able to say no.

Yes, the disparity in length of life is a bummer.

I don't know....I am always a wreck when I lose one, but I wonder if my very, very early exposure to the realities of death....both animal and human....has made me a bit more philosophical about that than appears to be usual. I usually just jump right back in!
