Hey, please help me with my kitchen flooring. Laminated or vinyl is better for kitchen use?
Back in the late 70's, I put a nice shagpile carpet in my kitchen and it was ever so warm and luxurious.
Now it is so hard and shiny that one would think it was a ceramic tiled floor.
It also has a vague roast beef sort of odour, and it tends to attract flies. No idea why.
According to me, vinyl would be the right choice for kitchen flooring as it is durable and requires low maintenance. It is also available in many different colours and patterns.
