POEM HARD AND LONELY LIFE

It's windy, it's raining it's cold.
To live like this you have to be strong and bold.
To have no food or money.
To have no Mummy or Daddy.
Life can be so bold.
To sleep in doorways and alley's.
To feel no warmth of a bed.
To cry out in pain with hunger.
And not getting any younger.

To live life to the full would be a wonder.
But so would a bed and a meal.
If only the dream would be real.
Then I would be laughing to the full.
So help me please if you can.


Trade places with me for a day.
then you will feel the same need as me.
Just spare a few bob and be dammed.

Please don't be put off by my appearance.
It's not my fault,I can't get a bath.
You don't know my predicament.
So don't judge by what you don't know
Because it could be you, you don't know?

Sleeping rough is no fun.
Specially when the weather is glum.
The future holds no hope, only sorrow and hard times to come.
Every day is just like another, a fighting battle just to survive.
They say life is just what we make it,but circumstances prevail.
So please help me if you can, don't judge by the image of me.

Enrich my life for me, so that I can improve my needs.
Only you can help in my plight to change the way I go about.
So spare a thought for others like me.
Remember you are in the warmth, I am out in the cold.
