@JLNobody,
I'm in the here and now, and I'm meditating
And still I'm suffering but that's my problem
Enlightenment, don't know what it is.

@dyslexia,
I don't either, but I'm sure I would not trade it for the suffering I'm (we're) experiencing right now.

@hamilton,
Noah, why don't you, the inept and conceited imbecile that you are, find some more acceptable medium through which to convey your menial, irrelevant comments, where your undeniable and consistent skepticism and cynicism and ideological and idealistic attitude may be accepted.

@JLNobody,
A dramatic moment: our sweet friend Dyslexia died a couple days after telling me (above):
"I 'm in the here and now, and I'm meditating
And still I'm suffering but that's my problem
Enlightenment, don't know what it is."

He was truly suffering and speaking from his heart.
My answer was sincere but not as heartfelt as his. I answered:

"I don't either, but I'm sure I would not trade it for the suffering I'm (we're) experiencing right now." What I meant, of course, was that I prefer the REALITY of our suffering to the IDEALIZATION of the notion of enlightenment. Now I'm the only one who is suffering. Dear Bob is at peace.

@hamilton,
Oh, there it is: behind my sofa. Thanks, Set. Such sage advice. It should become one of our classic zen dialogs.
