just learned about Widow' Pension

Good friend of MOM' told her about Widow' Pension? asked her if she was receiving after Husband died[Yes he was in the Navy 3yrs.] MOM or myself had never heard about Widow' Pension , But was told since DAD had served MOM should be able to rec. ALL or atleast Part ? Can someone Please let us know what MOM' rights are

What country are you in? Laws and the military are different from place to place. Also, are you in touch with your father's commanding officer? He or she might be able to help.
