go find an organic, or meat based small chunk cat food. These will be high enough in protien to help that little bird.

one piece of cat food + enough water to make it mushy and feed it with an eye dropper.

I did this for months. Fed a blue jay baby Smile I loved it.

after a little while, when the bird gets bigger , you can start on seeds and millets...

@shewolfnm,
call an animal rehab if you want to maximize the peeps chances for survival.

@farmerman,
yes and no. depending on where you are, they may not take what they consider " common animals" sadly.

but i agree. Find a place for it first if you can

@shewolfnm,
I once had some saw whet owlings that must have had their nest dumped. We found a wildlife rehab center not too far away. Little owls are really ugly little bastards. Youd have dreams about owl chicks,

@royalpain1100,
I raised lots of wild birds. Mostly I dug grubs and worms for them. By and large, they are hardy little critters, obviously they need heat without a ma & pas body.

Some returned the next year and were almost as friendly with me as when they left.

@royalpain1100,
I've raised a couple orphans with cream of wheat in a squeeze bottle. It's probably not technically correct, but it works. I got a blue jay successfully fledged and 2 pigeons also that way.
