LOGOS

You are not entitled to “your” opinion, you are entitled to “an opinion”

You are entitled to fail or succeed according to the TRUTH/LIES in your mind..

You are entitled to seek truth, act according to it, and fail or succeed in accomplishing your objectives..

Your ability to realize truth is dependent on “the rightness of your conception of reality”

Reasoning is not to “decide” for yourselves what is TRUE, it is to “distinguish” what is KNOWN from what is UNKNOWN..

The essence of LOGIC/LOGOS/TRUTH is “Contrary Objectives CANNOT be accomplished”

“A House that stands against itself, cannot stand”

“If the words of reasoning conclude that you abandon all reasoning, let the first to be abandoned be the reasoning of those words.” - Marc Rose.

@Whatsignificant,
How nice that I am entitled to do these things that are as natural and inevitable as breathing.

Quote:
Reasoning is not to “decide” for yourselves what is TRUE, it is to “distinguish” what is KNOWN from what is UNKNOWN..

Reasoning is indeed about distinguishing what is known from what is unknown, but it is also about deciding for yourself what is "true".

Quote:
The essence of LOGIC/LOGOS/TRUTH is “Contrary Objectives CANNOT be accomplished”

This single observation, that "contrary objectives cannot be accomplished, is the entire essence of logic? No, it's not. It is merely one of thousands of understandings we have arrived at by applying logic. Logic/logos/truth is about much more than this narrow description.

@Cyracuz,
Not unless it's TRUE that there are lego.
Not unless it's TRUE that you can have lego.
Not unless it's TRUE that they are actually more fun.

Thus you NEED LOGOS to have more fun..

@Whatsignificant,
Not unless it is true that there is logos
Not unless its true that logos dont like legos
Not unless it would suit your subjective preference that this should indeed be so

Thus you have the risk of legos ganging up on you to rob you of your logos

@Whatsignificant,
“A House that stands against itself, cannot stand”....

And yet all we ever do, is stand against ourselves.

That is all people ever do, just prop themseleves up against themselves.
