Why do the topics in the My Favorite Topics
box disappear?? This is the 2nd time it has
happened....????
This is a bug in my code. I'd taken some code and toyed with it late at night and this is a late showing bug. I don't have time to fix it now but have contacted the developer of the original code to see if he has the time.
BTW babs, please PM jespah about the question you sent me. I am not answering support PMs till I have more time.

Yup I remember. This will probably be a pain to fix and I'll take down this feature and tinker till it's working. I don't have time for this now though (I suspect it will be one of those really irritating ones).

Yup, like I said, I have code ready to replace the code we are using, I just need to test it.
I suggest one clicks on "Watch this topic" until Craven or another designer can fix the favorites feature. I find I haven't really been using it either as I like to shuffle through the topics each day and follow the icons to the left.
Another trick is to just do the Abuzz "bookmarking" so that it shows up in your ego search ("view topics you have posted in" link at the top right of the pages).
lol please spread the word that this feature isn't stable yet. I don't have time to remove it or fix it right now but it's not ready to be used.

MY FAVOUITES HAVE JUST BEEN WIPED OUT AGAIN!
It will probably happen for a while, and I won't have time to fix this for some time (it's a fairly big feature and I plan to rewrite it from scratch to avopid incorporating the coding errors of others) so I advise against using it.
Any topic you participate in should show up in the " topics you have posted in" search.
I will remove the links to the favorites right now.
I don't use favourites anymore ... The email updates, combined with "topics you have posted in" & "topics you have started" links get me around just as quickly.
The favorites are gone (untill I can rewrite the code).
The feature is still there but has been commented out, so if you want to view favirites you currently have go to:

You can't add more but you can view the ones that haven't disappeared yet.
