It will be a series of Stooges shorts, encapsulated in a long film, with new actors to portray the originals. Nyuk nyuk nyuk.
@edgarblythe,
I was skeptical when I first heard that Johnny Depp and Sean Penn were flaunted in the first attempts at this infamously delayed remake.

Looks like these A-listers have fallen through for a couple of C list actors.
Will Sasso ... Curly
Sean Hayes ... Larry
No listing on the IMDb page for Moe though the only name on the list is Richard Jenkins (who's more of a B list named actor but an A-list Oscar acting talent).
Sean Hayes played Jerry Lewis in a made for TV Martin and Lewis bio. He was not that great. I did think he was funny in Will and Grace.
@edgarblythe,
Hmm, skeptical, but will keep an eye out for.
@Reyn,
If Curly Joe can get away with it anybody can.
@Reyn,
Be careful Reyn. The 3 stooges favorite target are the eyes.
@edgarblythe,
I hope they get this going soon.
I've always loved the Stooges - I figure the new film will make them put the old spots on t.v. again to increase interest in the film.

KVOS in Bellingham, Washington runs 3 Stooges 1/2 hour shows here on certain days.
@ehBeth,
They show Stooges every weekend on Antenna TV, here.
