I've seen videos where people use large parabolic mirrors to reflect the sun's power to a focal point where an extremely high temperature point can be created. However, beyond the focal point, the sun's energy expands back outward into infinity. Is it possible to use optics at the focal point to bend all of that energy back into a small parallel "beam"?
