Is there a method within Windows 98 of telling when a file was deleted?

Or secondly is there some type of log generated that will show when such an event occurred?

Thank you!

I'm not sure how you can access a log of the deletions with the software you currently have, but if you enter your trash bin and right click on a deleted item you would be able to select "Properties" and view when it was deleted.

Of course this only works if the item is still there. So it may not be of any help to you.
