Total time is a measurable, physical attribute quantifiable by the span between two unique events, these being, 1. the creation of the universe and 2. the end of the universe. An amount of time is then a finite discrete subdivision of Total time between any two arbitrary points falling within the span of Total time. Time is positive when measured from the event of creation (being absolute zero) and increasing to its highest value of Total time at the event of the end of the universe. Physical processes evolve in positive time.
