I'm renewing my interest in potpourri, body products & other smelly interests. I've found tons of sources of plant essential oils, but does anyone know of a source for true musk oil?
(Before I get a lecture, I know that the musk deer was almost killed to extinction in the search for the precious stuff, but evidently now, musk deer are being raised for this purpose - no killing necessary.)
ANYhoo, I'm looking for musk oil in as pure a state as possible (rather than a cheap imposter).
Anybody out there into perfumery & know of a source?
