Apparently there was some ambiguity in my original post:

I don't consider Setanta a friend. He read too much into what I was posting here. I didn't agree with what he was posting and he didn't agree with my posts. He doesn't want me PMing him-I have no desire to talk to him anyway.

Roger is a long time a2k person with a lot of wisdom under his belt, who posts quite succicintly and virtually always well, in contrast to me. We are personal friends who do quibble off and on, but hold each other in regard.

Sturge, I toss you some accolades.

Roger is an interesting person, he's a retired union organizer who specialized in health insurance. His hobbies include raising polo ponies and model rockets. He drives a BMW sport/ute and lives in a condo over-looking the 11th hole fn the golf course at Durango Colorado. He's Catholic but doesn't attend mass very often.

Setanta is an uncircumsized Philistine-a Godless heathen. An ignorant DEVIL who is mad because I'm trying to tell people here the TRUTH of the Word of God, and trying to point to people WHY CATHOLICS AREN'T RIGHT.

They are IDOLATORS- they pray to Mary and ask Mary to pray to God. No where in the Bible does it say to do that- Jesus, the Bible says, is our Intercessor.

They reverence Mary-they call her The Woman above All Woman-they say She sits at the Right Hand of God in Heaven-that's blasphemy and idolatry.
The ONLY one you are supposed to reverence is God.

They abandoned God's laws and made up their own laws because they don't want to do everything God's way. That's what the Scribes, and the Jewish High Priests did in the Bible. And they were constantly trying to find fault with whatever Jesus did. They resented Jesus because He told them the Truth of the Word of God and called them hypocrites because they weren't even following the laws they made up.
