Why are so many Hispanics immigrating to the US?

they all want to meet you and discuss their culture

They were here first. They are returning home.

Why are you here in the US? Your ancestors flocked here. And, come to think of it, probably they came after the "Hispanics".

I'm not sure if the Pilgrims met any Spanish speaking residents up here in the precolony Northeastern forests.

1. Most Hispanics in the US are the descendants of Native Americans.

2. By the time the Pilgrims got to "precolony Northestern Forests" there were well Established Spanish Speaking colonies in Florida and Texas.

You clearly missed the point of my post.

I wasn't questioning the Spanish colonies in California, Florida, and Texas. I was implicitly and in a jokingly fashion suggesting that the Hispanic population was not indigenous to the Northeast part of the soon to be English colonies.

Try not to read too far into other people's posts.

I am NOT Hispanic-I'm an African-American. They call African-Americans "products" of the US.
