https://www.matrixblogger.de/Schlange1a.jpgI made this photo of a snake at my house. Looks not dangerous, more cute. ;-) But I could not find this snake in search engine.

@JonathanD,
We can't see photos from your PC. They need to be hosted online somewhere.

@JonathanD,
Most likely a king snake, Lampropeltis spp. Possibly a rat snake. Both are harmless colubrids.

Looking at it some more, I'm pretty sure it is a king snake.

Thanks to you all for your replies. I had the feeling that this snake is not poisonous. :-)

@Region Philbis,
Oops, my bad. Yep, that must've been it. Nifty snek markings!

@jespah,
When I first looked at this thread last night I could not see the snake either.

This morning I can, but I have not done anything.

@JonathanD,
Not a king snake. They have smooth scales.Rat snakes have keeled scales.

Most likely it’s actually rat snake (also known as corn snake). They’re both constrictors and non-poisonous as they capture reptiles (rats, mice, etc.). Quite commonly found in semitropical and tropical climates. They get to be a good size …like 4-5 feet.
I enjoy seeing them but they are doing the best to avoid humans. My significant other, Maxine, is less appreciative to the point of uttering high-pitched noises that sound like a siren.

@Ragman,
I didn't see keeled scales. I still don't.

@Ragman,
Corn snakes are found only in the southeast United States.
