a pile of mud is on the playground. how could it be used to show how a glacier moves

I would go inside and get the janitor. Tell him that you will clean up this pile of mud if he can tell you how a glacier moves.
(seems to me that youre just doing that with us). ALthough Ive gotta congratulate your teacher for coming up with "interdisciplanary" ways of explaining phenomena. Very cool.
