My sister has Comcast Internet and Cable. I have Verizon Internet. Every few months I get messages from my sister that she can't open what I sent. Tuesday I sent her emails with pdf attachments and links to You tube videos, she wrote back that she can't open them. She has in the past, why now can't she? Thanks for any help! She usually uses her Gmail address.

No way of knowing without more info. Is it possible that the links are incomplete? Can you open them from the email you sent?

Can she continue to open those files if sent by others?
Knowing that will help narrow down the problem as being local to her computer system or local to your computer system.
Also, which email system are you using and what method are you using to prepare and insert these links and attachments?
