I'm working on a short story and I was considering having chapters written by different characters. For instance, chapter one is about Rose, chapter two about Travis and etc. What point of view would work best third person omniscent or first person?

@domi262011,
If it was written in third person how could each chapter be written by a different character?

@domi262011,
When I've seen this done, it is usually third person. I don't know if this structure works as well for a short story as it does for a novel. How many chapters can you have in a short story?

@domi262011,
Barbara Kingsolver has a number of books written in this manner. Check out The Poisonwood Bible and Prodigal Summer for examples.

Domi - first you say "written by" then you say "written about".
