My husband wanted and joined Direct buy. He like what they had to say but wanted to do some research before signing. He was told that if he didn't sign on the spot that the offer would no longer be available. Once signing and investigating, he realized that this would not be something that would be beneficial to him. He has tried to cancel for 3 days already and they only thing that they can do is alter the contract not cancel. Are there any laws that can work for us, this company seems to take advantage of people with no remorse. Thank you
@cdcast93,
Check with the BBB...also all you need to do is a search in google on direct buy scams and you get a slew. Sorry about what happened to you - this has happened to lots of people and there are several law suits.
The reason I knew about doing this was my husband saw a commercial on them and thought we should go check it out. I did a quick google search and when one of the automatic choices was "scam" at the end I knew it couldn't be a good thing.
Here is an article that might be helpful in getting you your money back - it gives some examples of how some people did get a refund. Good luck.
