						I am the great, great, great grandaughter of Samuel Lyle and Florella Brown Adair.  Florella is a half sister to John Brown.

												My ggrandfather, my avatar, was a member of  JAMES BURNET'S BATTALION; 1ST TEXAS SHARP SHOOTERS; CONFEDERATE STATES ARMY. 												What was his name?
I remember going to Vicksburg and there is a monument there with the names of confederate and union officers engraved on it.  My great great great grandfathers name was Joel Anderson (from Illinois)his name was on the monument.
