Wasn't that TV?
They SOOOOO better have a decent Lucy this time!!!!!
Definitely could have been done better! I am looking forward to a new version.
Wonder if all of Lewis' theological stuf will be in 'em? 'Twould be lovely to see the fauns, and dwarves, and talking animals and giants and dryads and naiads and bogles and efreets and hags and such....
I loved those books so much as a wwwlowan - I am almost excited!!! The allegory/theology stuff put me off as I got older, though.
Same here deb. But I grew up knowing about the lion/lamb.
LOL! It hit me at about 8 - I sort of liked it for a bit - then it got a bit much. I was still a christian at 8.
Anyone else read Lewis' science fiction trilogy - "Out if the silent planet", "voyage to venus" and "that hideous strength"?
Again, I loved the as a weelowan - then came to disagree with the theology.
Still one of the best evocations of meeting an alien species and such I have ever read.
interesting, I know I've read That Hideous Strength, but I'm not sure about the others. His style in SCI/FI was a little soft for me.
