I'm going to, before the repubs possibly repeal Obamacare, go to all the insurance companies who have in the last couple of years either refused me coverage or quoted me a premium so high that Bill Gates couldn't afford it and see if anything's changed, just for fun. I'll let you know

Right off the bat.... before Obamacare... the BCBS HSA plan with a 5000.00 deductible was quoted to me at 449.00 and then of course, I got a letter from them telling me that I was uninsurable because of my prescription drug record.... which aside from blood pressure meds, the usual occasional antibiotic, glaucoma drops and a permanent pain med prescription because of my intestinal adhesion and back problems, is non existent and not a red flag. My blood pressure and cholesterol are perfect.

Today they of course cannot turn me down and quoted me 213.87 a month for the exact same policy.

Next stop, United Helath Care or whatever they're calling themselves these days. These are the people that I dropped after they raised my family rate from 1300.00 to 1800.00 a month several years back.
