King Of Blarney Dies.
Waterford born comedian Hal Roach known as the King of Blarney died today 28-2-12 aged 84. He was really very popular for his style of comedy and spent over 60 years in show business. He was in the Guinness Book of Records for the longest-running engagement of a comedian at the same venue: 26 years at Jury's Irish Cabaret. No foul language from our Hal, just good old simple comedy. His catch phrase was "Write it down, it's a good one!" RIP.
