@Ceili,
They are indeed Ceili, still touring. Bad news is they were meant to tour America next year
but have had to cancel the gigs due to an injury sustained by guitarist O Braonain.
So I'm not sure when they will be on the road again but I am glad to report they are alive & kicking.

@Ceili,
Yeah I love the Waterboys, I go see them every chance I get. The band was formed by Mike Scott (lead singer) who is Scottish although the band has comprised members from Ireland, England & Scotland. They have also spent a lot of time in Co Galway where I've been lucky to see them.
Their still touring but I have not heard of any plans to cross the pond to your neck of the woods which is a pity because their great live.
But you can keep checking at www.mikescottwaterboys.com just in case.

This is a picture I took of Greencastle, with the Mourne mountains in the background. It was once the family home of the de Burgh clan.

@Ceili,
Hi Ceili, sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Nice picture.
Greencastle home of Richard De Burgh, at the time the most powerful family in Ireland.
Now they settle for a castle in Wexford, Bargy castle.

Check it out at www.chrishigh.com/cdeb & follow the link to Bargy castle interactive tour.

P.S. Just curious are you Irish or have you a connection to Ireland.

@Ceili,
Magical raised in the garden of Ireland, I hope emigrating was not too painful.
Did the whole family emigrate or just you?.
I suppose I'm the opposite, my mam's from Dublin and my dad from Philadelphia,
born in Philadelphia, there for a short time, then divorce & back to Ireland with my mam.
We make the best of it, says you Smile
