My friend and her brother made up a riddle (she's know for her lies, she might not have made it up), and it's really hard. There are two islands, one boat, 3 people, ands 3 canabulls (might be spelled wrong, but it's the people that eat people). If there are more people than canabulls, they kill them. If there are more canabulls than people, they eat them. You have to get all 6 of them to the other island. The boat has to be on the island they're on now. All 6 of them have to be alive, no pushing the boat, no swimming, you know the drill.
@lillyrox,
Cannibals are people too.
The standard problem has the cannibals eating the missionaries, but doesn't have the missionaries killing the cannibals. That makes the problem impossible.
@markr,
I know they're people. Getting them there is simple, there's a million ways to do it. It's getting the boat back that's hard.
@lovejoy,
You could fit them all in, I just need to know how to get the boat back.
Then it can't be done, or the question has been wrongly worded.
@lillyrox,
You take all the 6 in your boat and transport them to the other island. Then you take the boat back to the first island. The riddle doesn't say, you have to be on the second island with the 3 cannibals and 3 people.
