I think of it as; or moreso, look to it as being a complex interaction of catharsis and metamorphosis. I tend to believe there is something much bigger and more important than this. To the extend that a collegian goes to alma mater college games after graduation but doesn't return to alma mater high school games unless their children are going to high school. Then it doesn't typically matter which high school it is.
