Tonight the moon....

hung
Like a charm

Holding out his golden arms.
and as I sat and watched him rise

I realized he had no eyes.
The candles that I lit outshone
his sparkling in a monotone.

At that moment in my eyes
I found that Nature tells us lies

We still have power to
love, create, and win
Against the power of fate.
