Goodbye fair cloud
that covers me.
Goodbye fair shroud
of my ambiguity.
Goodbye fair veil
that covered me up
but to no avail.
In the end I won,
In the end I prevailed.
Now that cloud
is gone
gone forever.
Or at least until
it returns again
to haunt me.
Goodbye fair cloud
that covers me.
Goodbye fair shroud
of my ambiguity.
The storm clouds came
and brought you in.
What I shame
that I couldn't win.
Now they have left
they rain no more.
Now I am bereft
of my mask of a cloud.
Hello, fair cloud,
cover the sun.
Come in and shroud,
all of this.
Return to me,
wonderful storm.
Cover once again in ambiguity.
The storm is sporadic,
unknown, and mysterious.
I sit here and wonder
what happened to automatic?
Cause and effect, where did you go?
Why is this so spurious?
I didn't know clouds could think,
I didn't know that they were sentient,
but in that small wink,
I saw what you meant
fair cloud
sweet cloud
who covers the world.
Won't you come back?
Won't you go away?
Welcome to A2k! I like your poem!
Coincidently, I just finished one about a shadow, talk about synchronicity!
Anyway yours is much more eloquent.
