A plastic bottle with water was sealed, bottle then put in plastic bag. The bottle and the bag was weighed and the mass recorded.
The bottle and the bag was put in the freezer.
The bag and bottle was weighrd agan 24 hours later.
The mass did not change after freezing.
Why does the mass stay the same?

@Sian Gwenllian,
Why would it change? It is in a sealed container that shouldn't allow any molecules to escape. (Or at least the molecules lost are smaller than your measurement error.)

If you put water in a tray, you would lose water molecules by evaporation to the air so the mass would be less.
