I don't know, as a metaphor for all human conflict, it works pretty well.

I teach the original combat sport, Judo. But even in MMA, even though there are so many who just find it unnecessarily barbaric, there is a sense of beauty and budo. There is an essence of humanity at its raw center. But with this I don't get it. Maybe Stallone in Over The Top ruined it for me. I know it ruined trucker hats for me long before Ashton Kutcher ever did.

I bet that guy hanging there unconscious by his arm had a mom somewheres that was just proud as a peach, though...

These aren't volunteers, they are getting paid. I suppose if the pay was high enough, I might sign up myself.
