there are three grandmothers and three grandchildren, the grandmothers eat each other grandchildren if they are left alone and they to cross a river in a boat that takes only two passenger. how will they cross?

Nothing is impossible. It's a simple problem of maths. Keep in mind two things: 1) the boat doesn't have to come back empty to pick up its next load; 2) one or more of the three grandmothrs could be a grandkid also (not necessarily so, but it's possible -- think outside the box.)
