I sincerely don t care; the shoes r OK; no problem.

That is a private matter for the chick herself to decide.

how do you feel about mens shoes?

oxbloods, or no?
Absolutely FOR SURE, I never look down
to find out what thay r wearing; that has never occurred to me.
I coud not possibly care less than I already don 't care.

For myself, out of laziness, I have bought (bawt) patent leather shoes
so that I need not be concerned with their shine.

There might be one exception to this concept, to wit:
there is a school of thawt that by looking at a man 's shoes,
u can discern his attention to DETAIL, to getting it right,
an element qua which he is not posing. Hence, when one goes
to apply for a job or a loan, maybe one shoud take care of that,
in the same spirit that he wishes to have a good looking resumaa.

OK, now you've gone right through (throo) the looking glass.

I was trying for a long A effect; I did not want a short a pronunciation.

But it's FRENCH.
It's already phonetic (fonetick).

Yes, and in French, it's résumé--so it should be pronounced "ray-zoom-ay."

@OmSigDAVID,
Can we compromise on 'rezoomie'?

Audrey Hepburn trained as a ballerina but unfortunately she was too tall at 5'7" which in the 50s would make her tower over her male dancer if she pirouetted on her high toe.

Here is her dance in funny face. Can't make out her shoes.

Due to a heated argument at work involving ballerina flat shoes, I need to ask the men of a2k how they see them. Do you like them on women? Do you hate them? Do they leave you neutral?
Might regard them as a fetish outside of costume balls. Don't find them particular pretty nor sexy.

It is even. Some men like them, some don't and some don't care... The key, to me, is, that there is no unanimous vote....and thus I win and my colleague loses. Hurrah.

So this was really about winning not shoes?

Well, we r informed that it ends in a long A sound.
Your suggestion leads us to an E sound; I don 't know of a reason
to change the English pronunciation of an accepted word.

For the most part, what I 've been doing
is to change my spelling to conform to popular pronunciation,
in an efficient (low keystroke) spelling.
