They are more brown, kind of an understated oxblood, if you will.

In Carbondale, Illinois, there was a glove factory which specialized in women's formal gloves. When Jackie Kennedy began to appear in public at formal events without wearing evening gloves, the market for them plummeted immediately. It is even. Some men like them, some don't and some don't care... The key, to me, is, that there is no unanimous vote....and thus I win and my colleague loses. Hurrah.
