@kerrylei,
I'll throw out a few random English language films that you can watch via DVD and have the English hearing impaired captions turned on.
I'll recommend an arbitrary film from each major decade in film that should be out in DVD and has English subtitles:
My Man Godfrey (1936);
Casablanca (1942);
Roman Holiday (1953);
The Apartment (1960);
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977);
Airplane! (1980);
Remains of the Day (1993) ;
Ratatouille (2007);
BTW: Is this for ESL (English as a Second Language classes)? What is the context and purpose of this thread? Any films or genres that you do particularly like so that we can recommend similar films? Who is the primary age of the audience for these films? Should we lean towards comedy? Drama? A mix of both? Children's films?
